This project has been implemented on the initiative of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan, with the aim of promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities on the international stage.
Video materials presented on Japan’s largest outdoor screen, covering an area of 424 square meters, highlight Uzbekistan’s ancient monuments, historic cities, the country’s natural beauty, and its cultural diversity. It should be noted that such initiatives contribute to shaping a positive image of our country, attracting foreign tourists and investors, and strengthening cultural ties between nations.
The videos are also being displayed on the façade screen of the Shibuya Sky Tower skyscraper, which is likewise located at the Shibuya intersection.
Shibuya Crossing, located in central Tokyo, is the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world, with more than 3,000 people crossing it at the same time and about 2.5 million on weekends. In close proximity to the crossing is one of Tokyo’s most famous tourist attractions—the statue of the legendary dog Hachiko. Nearby are also one of Japan’s largest railway stations, Shibuya Station, and a bus terminal, which are used daily by approximately 5 million people.
