Established at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Islamic Civilization Center was built in a harmonious combination of national architectural traditions and modern decorative solutions. On its four sides rise portals 34 meters high, and above the central part stands a dome reaching 65 meters.
The Center is strengthening its reputation not only as a scholarly repository of historical manuscripts, but also as a new intellectual platform for the development of the Islamic world, a center of cultural diplomacy, and a strategic venue that enhances the country’s tourism potential.
During the visit, members of the delegation were presented with detailed information about the Center’s conceptual exhibitions, its strategic goals, research directions, and international cooperation programs.
Delegation members from the European Union and Central Asia highly praised the Center’s openness to international cooperation, as well as the opportunities it creates for scientific exchange and the implementation of joint projects.
In addition, the delegation noted that the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan will become an educational space that will open a new path for the world to study history and culture.
