A new tourist complex launched in Jizzakh

This year, extensive construction and landscaping work was carried out in the area, turning it into a convenient recreation zone for the public. In particular, roads leading to the tourist site were asphalted, 131 hectares of unused land and mountain slopes were landscaped, and more than 30 types of decorative and fruit gardens were created on a 50-hectare area.
A special fishing zone has been set up on an area of 1 hectare, along with the establishment of a zoo, a modern four-stage zipline, as well as food outlets and service facilities at the final point of the route.
For young people and extreme sports enthusiasts, rock-climbing routes have been organized, along with hot-air balloon rides offering panoramic views of the city of Jizzakh from above, and 2.5-kilometer ATV tours.
It is worth noting that in recent years, the tourism sector in the Jizzakh region has been gradually transforming into one of the key drivers of the economy. This year, the region welcomed 472,000 foreign and 1.6 million domestic tourists. The volume of exported tourism services reached 70 million USD.
In addition, 49 new accommodation facilities with a total capacity of 1,274 guests were opened this year, creating more than 500 new jobs. Today, 312 hotels, hostels, campgrounds, and family guesthouses operate in the region, with total accommodation capacity reaching 7,657 beds.
