Number of small businesses: 57,127, including 12,859 in industry, 3,065 in agriculture, 36,739 in services and trade, and 4,464 in construction.
Additional revenue to the local budget in 2024 amounted to 5.27 trillion UZS.
Within the framework of family entrepreneurship: 551 billion UZS in loans and 36 billion UZS in subsidies allocated.
Investments:
1,182 projects launched with a total value of $1.034 billion, creating 36,000 jobs. $1.78 billion in FDI attracted. Export target of $1.1 billion was achieved by 91% ($1.0 billion).
In “Kokand” FEZ, 145 projects worth $981.2 million were allocated; 108 projects worth $538 million launched (10,260 jobs).
Industrial output in 2024 was 3.3 trillion UZS, with exports totaling $114.9 million.
136 investment projects were launched, worth 601.1 billion UZS (1,785 jobs created).
Housing Construction:
198 buildings with 7,915 apartments were completed. In “New Uzbekistan” complexes: 59 buildings (2,173 apartments). 43 buildings postponed to 2025.
Infrastructure:
157 projects executed with 1.12 trillion UZS allocated. Construction and installation work completed worth 959.5 billion UZS.
“Initiative Budget”:
266 projects funded with 340.6 billion UZS.
Road Infrastructure:
631 km of roads and 13 bridges built or repaired with a total of 500.2 billion UZS.
Electricity Supply:
411 km of power lines, 245 transformer stations built. Electricity supply improved for over 220,000 households.
Gas Supply:
265 km of gas pipelines repaired, benefiting over 44,000 households across 85 neighborhoods.
Water Supply:
80.1% of the region's population (3.3 million people) has centralized drinking water access.
Agriculture:
Total output – 43.9 trillion UZS (+4.7%). 4.8 million tons of produce grown. 462 projects worth 2.1 trillion UZS implemented. $315 million in exports.
Clusters expanding processing capacity, mechanization improved, new crop varieties introduced.
Social Sector:
Preschool coverage – 86.6% (287,947 children). 955 public and 100 private schools serve 721,209 students.
Localization:
162 projects implemented with a value of 2.9 trillion UZS, saving $230 million in imports. $28.6 million exported and 29 new product types launched.
