Turkish Companies Express Strong Interest in Investing in Fergana

In face-to-face meetings, opportunities for joint projects and further development of partnerships in multiple sectors were discussed in detail.
Entrepreneurs Bilal Shirin, Belgin Tanriverdi, and Muattar Ergen, who have been contributing to strengthening cooperation between the business communities of Fergana and Turkey, also took part in the meetings.
The discussions with Turkish business leaders covered prospects for cooperation in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, energy, jewelry, construction, information technology, agriculture, education, healthcare, tourism, cinema, and several other areas.
Governor Bozorov emphasized that the main goal of this visit was to bring cooperation with Turkish entrepreneurs to a new level, explore proposals for new projects, and attract Turkish investors to Fergana.
During a meeting with Mehmet Nükte, director of “Aktiv Group”, the parties discussed the possibility of implementing promising projects in the hospitality and furniture industries, including hotel construction and restoration of historical buildings in Fergana.
In the discussion with İbrahim Aydın, head of “Aydin Gold”, the sides exchanged views on implementing new jewelry industry projects and establishing long-term cooperation.
With the management of “Smtr Group”, a company specializing in the production of fuel tanks for the automotive industry, opportunities to set up a production line in Fergana were considered.
“Seyhan Ambalaj Makina”, a company engaged in packaging machine production, expressed interest in establishing a production line within the Kuva Logistics Center.
The world-famous footwear company “Cabani Shoes”, which already has stores in Tashkent and Samarkand, proposed opening a retail store in Fergana as well.
Entrepreneur Sali̇h Erdoğan shared his experience in implementing successful projects in various countries and expressed interest in developing new joint initiatives in Fergana.
During the meetings, other Turkish entrepreneurs also presented their project ideas and proposals. Governor Bozorov welcomed their initiatives, inviting them to visit Fergana, get acquainted with the region’s opportunities, and identify specific areas for cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meetings, agreements were reached on strengthening interregional ties and implementing joint projects and programs based on advanced international practices.
In addition, a number of memorandums were signed during the meetings. In particular, a memorandum of international cooperation was signed between the Fergana regional administration and Heyal Holding on the establishment of a “Turkish Special Industrial Zone” in the Kuva district, with a project value of 350 million USD. Cooperation was also established between the Fergana regional administration and ADK Group Elektrik San within the framework of a 10 million USD jewelry production project.
