The logistics center was established through the initiative of young entrepreneurs from Fergana — Abduvohid Qodirov, Javokhir Valiev, and Muhammadsaid Khojaev — and built with an investment of $6 million.
In his speech, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that the ongoing economic reforms and development processes in Uzbekistan are encouraging the activities of our compatriots abroad. He expressed confidence that large-scale enterprises start with small initiatives and that such projects have the potential to grow into major companies in the future.
The governor highly appreciated the efforts of young entrepreneurs operating abroad, learning local market regulations, and promoting the export of national products. He also highlighted that knowledge, hard work, and foreign language skills are the key to success.
Ambassador Alisher Abdusalomov also addressed the event, noting that Koreta Co., LTD plays a significant role in bringing Uzbek products to the global market. He stressed that the embassy continuously provides practical assistance and support to the business initiatives of our compatriots.
The entrepreneurs expressed their gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the opportunities created and the attention provided by the state.
As part of the event, a presentation on the activities of Koreta Co., LTD was held. The company has been engaged in the distribution of food and textile products throughout Korea for more than 10 years. It currently serves a client base of over 1,000 and has signed contracts for supply with the Korean military system. Its assortment includes over 1,100 types of products.
The products are sourced partly from Uzbekistan and from more than 17 countries, including Russia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, and the Netherlands. The company also operates offices in Poland, a dairy plant in Kazakhstan, and textile factories in Uzbekistan.
At the end of the event, a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony was held, and the guests were introduced to the operations of the new logistics center.
