Cooperation between Fergana Region and Ulsan City Accelerates in All Areas

This significant agreement aims to rapidly advance cooperation between the two regions across various sectors including economy, investment, trade, industry, migration, education, and more.
During the subsequent meeting, it was noted that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea continues to develop steadily, with the relations between Fergana Region and Ulsan City yielding tangible results.
Governor Bozorov expressed gratitude for the successful establishment of a specialist training center in Fergana in cooperation with Ulsan. Graduates of this center have secured stable employment in Ulsan, with their safety personally overseen by the city’s mayor. The compatriots met today also expressed their satisfaction with the created conditions.
Mayor Kim Doo-Geom highlighted that practical steps are already underway based on agreements reached during his visit to Fergana.
The participation of students from Fergana State Technical University in a global university festival held at Ulsan University, which featured some of the world’s leading higher education institutions, was recognized as an important step in exchanging advanced international educational experience.
It was also emphasized that efforts in the field of migration will be further strengthened.
The agreement signed today was welcomed as establishing a legal framework for cooperation between the two regions.
Governor Bozorov expressed confidence in building strong ties across all sectors and supporting the introduction of Ulsan’s industrial expertise into Fergana.
