As is known, a Government resolution “On the establishment of the Museum of the History of Traditional Rishtan Ceramics” had been adopted.

The main objectives of the museum are to identify, collect, and preserve museum objects and collections; to carry out cultural, educational, scientific, and pedagogical activities; to teach young people the art of pottery based on the “master-apprentice” tradition; to authentically highlight the rich cultural heritage of ceramics and its role in human history; to widely use modern information technologies in organizing exhibitions; and to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign museums in organizing exhibitions.

A symbolic ribbon was cut, and the guests were introduced to the activities of the museum.

At the same venue, the presentation of the book “Uzbek Artistic Ceramics” was held.

The forum continues with the international scientific-practical conference on the topic “Preserving and Developing Traditional Ceramics: Problems and Solutions.
