Presentation of Production Projects Held in Kushtépa District

The entrepreneurs presented promising projects in areas such as construction, fruit and vegetable processing, industry, and knitwear production.
With an investment of 40 million USD, 9 projects will be implemented, creating 1,210 jobs. These projects are to be carried out with the financial support of both local entrepreneurs and foreign investors, and are expected to be operational by mid-2026.
The governor emphasized that today Uzbekistan is actively supporting entrepreneurship, which has become a driving force of progress. Special industrial zones being established across the regions provide significant opportunities for both entrepreneurs and investors.
He stressed the importance of placing the most modern and promising projects in these zones, creating new jobs, and producing competitive, high-quality products.
It was further underlined that each project should contribute to the district’s socio-economic development, and officials were instructed to work in close cooperation with entrepreneurs.
