The event was organized in cooperation with the regional hokimiyat and the Committee on Family and Women's Affairs to celebrate the 34th anniversary of Independence, under the inspiring motto: “In the name of the Homeland, the Nation, and the People!” The forum was attended by the Hokim of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairwoman of the Committee on Family and Women's Affairs, Zulaykho Makhkamova, deputy hokims of cities and districts, active women, entrepreneurs, and women listed in the “Women’s Register.” At the beginning of the event, guests visited exhibitions prepared by the city and district departments for women's affairs. These exhibitions showcased the achievements of women entrepreneurs and the unique features of each region. Participants were then presented with a national clothing exhibition prepared by Fergana craftswoman Nargiza Yuldosheva, reflecting Uzbekistan’s national identity. The colorful and vibrant costumes drew great interest. Speakers highlighted that businesswomen from nearly 30 fields participated in the forum with their apprentices. Regional hokim Khayrullo Bozorov spoke about the reforms being implemented in the country to support women and enhance their participation in society: > “Women’s issues are among the most pressing topics today. On the initiative of the President, 300,000 women in the region received support through the ‘Women’s Register’ in the form of subsidies, preferential loans, and housing. Women were trained in various professions, entrepreneurship, and started their own businesses. The current main goal is for these women to train their apprentices and expand the community of creative women. This is the central idea of the forum,” the hokim emphasized. During the forum, it was especially noted that women in Fergana are proactive, engaged, support the President’s reforms, create new jobs, and export their products abroad. The names of Heroes of Uzbekistan from Fergana – Mansura Madalieva, Patilakhon Ergashova, Lola Murotova – as well as People’s Poetess of Uzbekistan Enakhon Siddikova, were proudly mentioned. Their contributions were acknowledged as examples for the entire Republic. Deputy Prime Minister and Chairwoman of the Committee on Family and Women's Affairs, Zulaykho Makhkamova, congratulated the participants on the 34th anniversary of Independence and stated: “Creative women are the heroines of our time!” She also spoke about measures to support women’s entrepreneurship, transitioning small businesses into medium-sized enterprises and medium-sized into large ones, as well as the opportunities created by the country’s President. As part of the forum, successful women such as Mastura Saidfiddinova, head of “Fargona Anorchilik” LLC, decorative artist Kudratkhon Teshaboyeva, and women from the “Women’s Register” who effectively used the provided resources and expanded their activities, shared their personal stories, challenges, and achievements. During the national forum, official certificates of trust from the committee chairwoman were solemnly presented to members of the Leading Women’s Club under the Committee on Family and Women’s Affairs. It was once again emphasized that economically independent women entrepreneurs should actively assist women in need in cooperation with local women’s affairs departments. A concert program featuring artists and young talents added a special festive atmosphere to the event.
