The fully renovated headquarters – a modern training base of the “Neftchi” Football Club, located in the Kirguli district of Fergana city – was officially inaugurated.

More than 11 billion soums were allocated for the reconstruction of this sports complex, and the facility, originally built in 1970, was thoroughly renovated. The dormitory and shower rooms, canteen, water facility, training hall, flower gardens, and green areas were rebuilt in a modern style. Three stadiums within the complex were also renovated to meet international standards. 4,500 new seats were installed. To meet the requirements of international sports competitions, the complex was equipped with modern infrastructure, technical equipment, and convenient conditions. All the necessary conditions have been created for conducting training sessions. Notably, along with the main team, women’s, U-19, and U-21 teams will also operate here. A symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony was held, and attendees closely acquainted themselves with the new facilities of the sports complex. In his speech, the regional governor congratulated everyone on the inauguration of the new modern sports complex. He especially highlighted the President’s strong attention to football development and noted that the qualification of Uzbekistan’s national team for the World Cup is recognized as a major achievement in the country's sports history. It was emphasized that the “Neftchi” club holds a special and unique place in Uzbek football, with a proud history, notable achievements, and strong traditions. The newly built complex opens great opportunities for players, and the governor expressed his hope that many talented footballers will emerge from the youth of Fergana. – May “Neftchi” earn the title of “champion” thanks to these conditions, and may we all celebrate this victory together, – said the regional governor. Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Football Association Odil Akhmedov, football veteran Tokhir Kapadze, and head coach of “Neftchi” Vitaliy Levchenko also spoke, highlighting the team’s successful performance in recent years, its achievements, and the recruitment of talented youth and professional coaches. Confidence was expressed in the team’s future victories and its worthy participation in international championships. Afterward, sports equipment was ceremoniously distributed to youth from 28 sports schools and football centers in the region. For their contributions to the development of football in the region, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov and “Neftchi” PFC General Director Mansurjon Toshmatov were awarded certificates of appreciation. During the event, fans also enjoyed an entertaining match featuring players from the “Neftchi” team. The festive event concluded with a concert program.
