Through this system, crucial tasks such as increasing household incomes, reducing unemployment, developing entrepreneurship, effectively engaging with women and youth, as well as preventing crime and early marriages, are being implemented. At a meeting chaired by Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, the activities of the Regional Council for Mahalla Support during the first half of the year were analyzed. Discussions focused on enhancing the effectiveness of the “Mahalla Seven” system and addressing existing issues. The event was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies, regional departments of the “Mahalla Seven” system, heads of city and district branches of the Mahalla Association, Council members, and representatives of other relevant organizations and institutions. The regional governor outlined the priority tasks facing the “Mahalla Seven,” emphasizing the importance of effective grassroots operations, unity, dedication, and achieving concrete results. Reports were heard from responsible officials on efforts to turn mahallas into areas free from unemployment, poverty, family breakdowns, and migration, as well as on the prevention of legal violations and the effective handling of public appeals. At the end of the meeting, specific measures were outlined to further improve the system’s efficiency, resolve problems within the mahalla itself, study the needs of the population, and organize targeted support.
