Construction of a New Recreation Area Begins at the “Karkidon” Reservoir in Kuva District

The launch ceremony was attended by Fergana regional governor Khayrullo Bozorov, regional prosecutor Bakhtiyor Ismailov, relevant officials, members of the public, and respected elders.
The governor noted the accelerated pace of construction and emphasized that the project would also offer significant economic opportunities for local entrepreneurs. In particular, the project envisions the construction of 57 cottages on a 4-hectare plot, each featuring distinctive architectural and design solutions.
During the event, prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, and the successful completion of the project. Construction officially began on site.
For reference, ongoing works include the improvement of transport infrastructure, landscaping, and the expansion of green spaces within the complex. According to the master plan of the tourism center, facilities such as hotels, recreational areas, parking lots, playgrounds, an amphitheater, and commercial-service centers are being developed.
