The delegation members learned about the operations of the well-known joint venture "Minsk Furniture Center" (MMC), located in the town of Molodechno, Minsk Region, which specializes in manufacturing furniture from natural wood.
The enterprise primarily produces furniture from solid pine wood. The products stand out for being completely eco-friendly and imparting a pleasant, natural fragrance to rooms. It manufactures high-quality wardrobes, beds, chests of drawers, sideboards, tables, and chairs designed for bedrooms, living rooms, children's and teenagers' rooms, kitchens, and hallways.
The facility has the capacity to process approximately 85,000 cubic meters of roundwood annually through deep processing. Sawmilling operations are carried out at specialized workshops located in the settlements of Krupskiy and Ilya. Every year, the factory produces more than 20,000 finished furniture sets made from solid pine.
To ensure the complete disposal and recycling of wood waste, the plant has also established the production of eco-friendly fuel pellets and wood briquettes. Due to its high operating capacity, the enterprise exports 93% of its finished products. Its main markets include Russia, Kazakhstan, Eastern and Western Europe, and North America.
Vasily Silits, the head of the sawmilling plant, provided the delegation members with detailed information regarding the production processes and the product range. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of implementing joint investment projects in the Fergana Region and agreed to foster future practical cooperation.
