Today, Fergana Regional Governor Khayrullo Bozorov visited Sokh District, where he first inspected ongoing construction and renovation work at educational institutions.
At General Education School No. 2 in the Yangiariq neighborhood, a new academic building with a capacity of 330 students is being constructed at a cost of 8 billion soums. In addition, the existing school building is undergoing reconstruction.
The regional governor reviewed the progress of the work.
Currently, 881 students attend the school in two shifts. Once the new building is commissioned, it will become possible to organize classes in a single shift. The project includes modern classrooms, educational and auxiliary facilities, as well as the necessary infrastructure.
The regional governor also inspected ongoing construction and renovation work at Children's Music and Art School No. 30. A total of 2.6 billion soums has been allocated for these purposes.
Currently, 162 students are enrolled in eight fields of study at the institution. The ongoing improvements will help develop young people's musical and artistic talents, unlock their creative potential, and enhance the quality of education.
The regional governor instructed the responsible officials to ensure that construction and renovation work at educational institutions is completed to a high standard and within the established deadlines, while also ensuring the targeted and efficient use of allocated funds.
