Fergana regional administration

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of agreements reached during the Fergana regional delegation’s working visit to South Korea. Particular attention was paid to moving forward with the practical implementation of a project to establish a modern greenhouse complex in the region using renewable energy sources.

Company representatives outlined the potential benefits of introducing advanced technologies that utilize heat from the air, geothermal sources, and water. These technologies would help reduce natural gas and coal consumption during the winter season, ensure a stable energy supply, and increase crop yields.

The regional governor emphasized that introducing advanced and energy-efficient technologies in agriculture is one of the key priorities and expressed his readiness to support the initiative.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to conduct an on-site assessment of opportunities for implementing the project in Dangara District, develop a concrete action plan, and continue their cooperation in a consistent and systematic manner.
