The meeting was attended by B. Vakhobov, Chairman of the Fergana Regional Court, as well as heads of relevant departments and organizations.
During the discussions, particular attention was paid to preventing potential disputes between business entities and government authorities, improving mechanisms for their pre-trial resolution, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs, and ensuring the effective resolution of administrative and economic disputes.
Special training courses are being organized across the country to prevent disputes between business entities and government authorities, improve the effectiveness of pre-trial dispute resolution, and strengthen the legal knowledge and skills of responsible government officials. As part of this initiative, specialized training sessions were held in Fergana Region for the first time, taking place at the premises of the Regional Tax Department and the Regional Court.
During the open dialogue, participants exchanged views on legal and practical challenges encountered in business activities, disputes arising from contractual relations, compliance with tax obligations, cadastral issues, and the resolution of administrative disputes related to decisions and actions of government authorities.
During the meeting with the regional governor, it was noted that issues related to the tax and cadastral systems account for a significant proportion of entrepreneurs' appeals. Proposals were put forward to thoroughly examine the underlying causes of these problems, develop systematic measures to prevent them, and further strengthen cooperation between government authorities and judicial institutions.
It was also announced that a practice of holding weekly meetings with entrepreneurs every Wednesday, with the participation of judges, and conducting legal awareness activities is being introduced across the regions. These meetings are intended to facilitate the direct examination of entrepreneurs' concerns at the local level, promote the correct application of legislation, encourage pre-trial dispute resolution, and prevent unnecessary bureaucratic procedures and difficulties.
In addition, the participants discussed the preparation and implementation of specialized training programs, video lessons, and explanatory materials aimed at improving the legal literacy of business entities and representatives of government authorities.
The regional governor emphasized that entrepreneurs are among the key pillars of the regional economy, as they create new jobs, attract investment, and expand manufacturing and service industries.
He expressed his readiness to further strengthen cooperation with the Supreme Court, regional courts, and relevant government agencies in this area, as well as to support initiatives aimed at systematically addressing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on jointly ensuring the implementation of the identified tasks, strengthening measures to prevent legal disputes, and creating a stable business environment for entrepreneurs based on the rule of law.
