The complex, built on the instructions of the Head of State at a cost of more than UZS 150 billion, can accommodate up to 200 users at a time. Modern facilities have been created to train more than 3,000 young people annually, engage them in practical projects, and provide IT services.
The center features coworking spaces for freelancers and software developers, as well as fully equipped offices for resident companies. The integration of education, production, and service processes helps young people acquire modern professional skills, find employment, and establish sustainable sources of income.
During the visit, the guests were briefed on the work being carried out in Fergana Region to develop information technologies and the digital economy, as well as on the activities and promising projects of IT companies.
In particular, information was presented on the work being carried out by UZINFOCOM, the Unified Integrator, to introduce digital technologies across various areas of public life and government, as well as to develop modern information systems and electronic services.
The guests also familiarized themselves with the training process at the iOS Development Center, established in cooperation with Apple, where young people are taught to develop mobile applications and modern software products while acquiring knowledge and skills that meet international standards.
The activities of Megagroup in developing software products and exporting them to international markets, including the Russian Federation, were also presented.
Information was also provided on IT Park University’s practice-oriented IT education programs and its academic programs aimed at training highly qualified specialists in line with labor market demands.
During the visit, the activities of the MUHANDISONA LLC team were also showcased. Led by Jahongirmirzo Ibrohimov, the team specializes in 3D modeling and the production of export-oriented products using 3D printers. The team’s Engineericly YouTube video blog has more than 770,000 subscribers.
Particular attention was paid to opportunities for further developing the IT sector in Fergana Region, expanding exports of digital services and software products, guiding young people toward modern professions, and strengthening cooperation with Russian companies in the field of information technology.
