Fergana regional administration

Today, a solemn ceremony to present the state awards was held at the regional administration.

The ceremony was attended by Governor of the Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov, heads of relevant departments and organizations, teachers and mentors, as well as representatives of the wider public.

The Governor warmly congratulated education professionals on their professional holiday and particularly emphasized the invaluable role of teachers and mentors in the development of society and the growth and development of the younger generation.

“Teachers and Mentors Day is one of the most meaningful holidays, because every profession has its teacher. Behind every achievement are the hard work, knowledge and guidance of a mentor,” Khayrullo Bozorov said.

It was emphasized that, under the leadership of the President, large-scale reforms are being implemented to fundamentally improve the country’s education system. Particular attention is being paid to enhancing the quality of education, strengthening the standing and status of teachers and mentors in society, and duly recognizing their demanding and honorable work.

It was noted that science and quality education play a decisive role in building a New Uzbekistan, upholding human dignity, and ensuring the country’s development and prosperity.

Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that, at a time when young people make up a significant share of the population, providing them with quality education and modern knowledge, creating appropriate conditions for them to acquire professions and skills, and raising the younger generation in the spirit of national and universal values are among the most important priorities.

Highlighting this point, the Governor noted that teachers and mentors have been entrusted with the future of the younger generation — the country’s greatest asset and its future.

Khayrullo Bozorov also warmly congratulated the teachers and mentors from the Fergana Region who were honored with state awards. He noted that this high recognition is a worthy acknowledgment of their many years of dedicated and productive work and their significant contribution to the development of education and upbringing, and wished them continued success in their honorable and responsible work.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the high state awards to the recipients.
