Khayrullo Bozorov, Governor of Fergana Region, visited the exhibition.

More than 50 manufacturers showcased their products and technologies. In particular, the exhibition featured compact and modern equipment and machinery for packaging, garment production, sock knitting, vegetable cleaning, food cutting and processing, baking, poultry incubators, as well as equipment designed for a range of other activities.

Most of the technologies presented are particularly valuable as they make it possible to launch small-scale production with relatively modest investment, create employment opportunities, and generate additional sources of income.

During a discussion with officials, the Governor noted that an exhibition of this kind was being held in Fergana Region for the first time. He emphasized that its primary purpose is to introduce the public to affordable, modern and income-generating technologies, expand opportunities for their purchase, and support small business initiatives.

“Affordable and profitable equipment should be identified, and cooperation should be established with its manufacturers and suppliers. By making use of the existing capacities of vocational schools, such exhibitions should be organized on a regular basis. Most importantly, we need to make modern technologies accessible to the public and create new jobs and sources of income,” the Governor said.

During the visit, discussions were held with entrepreneurs and manufacturers, with particular attention paid to the cost and production capacity of the equipment on display, opportunities for its practical use, and the introduction of accessible financial mechanisms for the public.

First deputy governors of cities and districts, as well as other responsible officials who attended the event, were instructed to introduce this practice throughout the region, systematically organize mini-technology fairs, and strengthen cooperation between manufacturers and local entrepreneurs.

In addition, officials were tasked with making profitable mini-technologies available at the mahalla level, taking into account the needs and financial capabilities of residents, developing new small-scale production projects based on these technologies, and providing financial support to local entrepreneurs and other initiative-driven individuals.
