The head of the club, Ahmadali Yunusov, provided information on the achievements made in sports, the involvement of young people in regular training, and future plans.
Currently, more than 420 young people regularly train in nearly ten sports, including volleyball, athletics, basketball, and wrestling. The club has produced many athletes who have become winners and medalists at national and international competitions.
The club’s most promising athletes are also being selected for national teams.
Volleyball, in particular, has attracted strong interest. Today, more than 60 young people from cities and districts across the region regularly train in this sport.
During the discussion, plans were outlined to further expand the club’s activities, including establishing a sports school, introducing parasports, and opening new sections for shooting, badminton, and table tennis.
The Governor expressed his support for these initiatives and noted that, taking into account the young athletes’ achievements, practical assistance would be provided in constructing a volleyball court and supplying the club with the necessary sports equipment and gear.
During a warm conversation with the young athletes, the Governor highly praised their dedication and hard work and expressed confidence that they would achieve outstanding results at prestigious competitions.
