Fergana regional administration

The meeting focused on further expanding investment, trade and economic cooperation between Fergana Region and the business community of the Republic of Korea, as well as developing and implementing new promising projects.

Representatives of Korean companies presented proposals and initiatives for implementing investment projects in Fergana Region in a number of areas, including energy, industry, construction, and cosmetics manufacturing.

During the discussions, information was provided on the region’s economic and investment potential, existing industrial infrastructure, opportunities offered by free economic zones and small industrial zones, as well as the conditions created for foreign investors.

Governor of Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized the region’s interest in developing long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with companies from the Republic of Korea. He noted that promising initiatives would receive the necessary organizational and practical support throughout their implementation.

The Korean business representatives expressed strong interest in the investment climate and opportunities available in Fergana Region and confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation in the proposed areas.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to further elaborate on the proposals, develop specific investment projects, and maintain direct contacts between the sides.
