Young People from Fergana Study in South Korea under a Joint Education Program

Currently, 127 young people from Fergana Region enrolled in the 2+2 joint education program between the Korean International University in Fergana and Joongbu University have begun their studies in the Republic of Korea in September of this year.
During the meeting, the Governor noted that successfully passing the selection process under the program and having the opportunity to study at one of the Republic of Korea’s prestigious higher education institutions is both a major opportunity and a significant responsibility for the students.
It was emphasized that acquiring in-depth knowledge and mastering modern technologies and advanced practices are essential requirements of today. Particular attention was drawn to the need for competitive and highly skilled professionals with strong knowledge and modern competencies to contribute to the further development of Uzbekistan.
It was also noted that learning is a continuous process and that studying the advanced achievements of developed countries in science, education, and technology and applying them for the development of Uzbekistan is of great importance.
During the meeting, it was also noted that 12 young people from Fergana Region had been employed by the South Korean company “AHA Co., Ltd”. This was highlighted as an important opportunity for them to apply their knowledge in practice and gain international experience. The students were wished every success in their future studies and professional careers.
During the open and sincere dialogue, the students raised issues of interest to them and shared their proposals, views, and opinions.
The event was also attended by Ku Gi Do, head of “AHA Co., Ltd”, and Park Jun Ho, Rector of the Korean International University in Fergana.
