Modern Sports Complex Built in Yuksalish Mahalla

The opening ceremony was attended by Khayrullo Bozorov, Governor of Fergana Region; Bakhtiyor Ismoilov, Regional Prosecutor; Ayubkhon Rahmatullaev, Head of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs; as well as local residents, representatives of the wider community, and young people.
At the beginning of the event, the guests planted tree saplings on the grounds of the complex as part of the nationwide “Yashil Makon” (“Green Space”) project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor of Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov warmly congratulated those gathered on the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence.
It was noted that the years of independence have created broad opportunities for the country’s development. In particular, the large-scale reforms carried out in recent years to uphold human dignity, improve the well-being of the population, and build a New Uzbekistan are contributing to the country’s sustainable development.
It was also noted that, thanks to the significant attention paid to promoting physical education and sports, encouraging greater youth participation in sports, and supporting talented athletes, Uzbek athletes are achieving notable results on the international stage.
Particular recognition was given to the construction of this modern sports complex on the site of a previously neglected sports ground through the noble initiative of local entrepreneurs and farmers and with sponsorship funds. It was highlighted as a practical example of solidarity and generosity in the interests of the community.
The Governor expressed gratitude to all the entrepreneurs and farmers who made a significant contribution to this worthwhile initiative. He voiced confidence that the new complex would encourage many young people to take up sports and help nurture future champions capable of representing Uzbekistan with distinction on the international stage.
The sports complex, valued at more than UZS 3 billion, provides modern facilities necessary for young people to train regularly in kurash and improve their skills. Rustamjon Tillaev, Prosecutor of Oltiariq District, also made a significant contribution to the construction of the facility.
During the ceremony, a group of sponsors who made significant contributions to the construction of the complex were presented with certificates of appreciation from the Fergana Regional Administration and commemorative gifts.
The symbolic ribbon was then cut, after which the participants toured the complex and familiarized themselves with the facilities created for athletes and young people.
