During the visit of the Fergana Region delegation to Afghanistan on July 26–27 of this year, a series of meetings were held to promote trade, economic and investment cooperation and expand mutually beneficial ties.

The meeting focused on the implementation of the agreements reached during that visit, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation in the aviation sector.

In particular, the parties exchanged views on an initiative to establish a new international airline in Fergana. They discussed the available opportunities for implementing the project, the necessary infrastructure, and arrangements for providing the required services.

Particular attention was paid to measures aimed at moving the project into the practical implementation stage with the participation of relevant organizations and specialists, as well as organizing the work in accordance with international standards.

The parties agreed on further steps and prospective areas of cooperation.
