Fergana regional administration

In connection with this landmark occasion, a ceremony was held with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to commission new facilities across the regions.

During today’s ceremony, 72 major industrial and service projects with a total value of nearly 50 trillion soums, as well as 91 social-sector facilities, were commissioned across all regions of the country. Their opening became a worthy gift to mark the Independence Day celebrations.

In the Kuvasay branch of the “Kokand” Free Economic Zone, located in Kuvasay city, a project for the production of automotive spare parts was also launched.

The regional studio hosted the event with the participation of Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, investors, and representatives of the older generation.

Speaking at the event, the regional governor, on behalf of the people of Fergana Region, sincerely congratulated President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the entire people of Uzbekistan on the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that the commissioning of new industrial enterprises, social and infrastructure facilities across all regions of the country is a practical result of the large-scale reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan under the leadership of the President.

Currently, practical work is underway in Fergana Region on more than 400 projects with a total value of $8 billion. This year, the region plans to attract and utilize $4.5 billion in foreign investment.

Ahead of Independence Day, 10 new enterprises with a total value of 1.45 trillion soums are being commissioned in the region. Their launch will create more than 1,000 new, high-income jobs.

As part of the event, one of these major projects — the Korean company “Hansae Mobility Turan” in Kuvasay city — was officially launched. The enterprise will manufacture automotive spare parts.

A total of $30 million in foreign investment has been directed to the project, creating 150 jobs.

At the same time, an autoclaved aerated concrete production plant began operations in Dangara District, while a facility producing aluminum profiles and finished products made from them started operating in Uchkuprik District.

A modern medical clinic was opened in Fergana city. New educational institutions were commissioned in the cities of Margilan and Fergana, as well as in Uzbekistan and Kuva districts.
