Construction of the Large Hydroelectric Power Plant in Sokh Is Progressing at a Rapid Pace

Today, Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov visited Sokh district and familiarized himself with the ongoing construction work at this major energy project.
At present, the main works to level and reinforce the inner and side sections of the hydropower plant’s canal are underway. Concrete works are also progressing rapidly at the site.
A total of 80 units of special-purpose machinery of various types have been deployed for the construction works. Particular attention is also being paid to providing employment for unemployed citizens in the area, including young people who have returned from labor migration.
The regional governor heard reports from the responsible officials on the work being carried out within the framework of the project, the progress of construction, and the implementation of the assigned tasks.
Khayrullo Bozorov gave the responsible officials the necessary instructions and directives to ensure the high-quality completion of the works and to finish the construction within the established deadlines.
