The event began with prayers for peace and stability in the country, the prosperity of the people, and the continued success of good and constructive initiatives.
At the ceremony, Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov sincerely congratulated the participants on the country’s most cherished and greatest holiday — the 35th anniversary of Independence. He noted that despite the current complex geopolitical situation, Uzbekistan’s economy continues to grow steadily, while reforms being implemented under the leadership of the President are producing tangible results.
In particular, it was emphasized that efforts to create a favorable environment for entrepreneurship and investment and to support business activity are continuing consistently. Reforms based on the noble principle of “For Human Dignity” are primarily aimed at protecting people’s interests and improving the well-being of the population.
In line with the priorities outlined during the President’s recent dialogue with entrepreneurs, the importance of creating new jobs in the regions, providing decent employment opportunities for compatriots working abroad, and turning industry into a key driver of economic development was highlighted.
It was noted that the establishment of a new system ensuring free competition in grain production and sales is opening up broad opportunities for entrepreneurs. The project implemented in Beshariq was highly praised as a practical example of the investor’s initiative.
It was particularly emphasized that the expansion of such industrial projects will play an important role in ensuring economic growth and increasing household incomes.
The project has a total value of $21 million and has created more than 100 new jobs. Once the enterprise reaches full capacity, it is expected to produce goods worth 120 billion soums annually and generate exports worth $5 million. The facility has the capacity to process 250 tons of wheat per day.
Speaking at the event, Russian investor and founder of the foreign enterprise “DRUJBA UN KOMBINATI” LLC, Bahodirjon Aslonbekov, provided information on the favorable conditions being created in Uzbekistan for foreign investors and entrepreneurs, the implementation of the project, and the company’s future plans.
In particular, the investor plans to implement projects to produce confectionery products and expand flour production.
Senior citizens also addressed the gathering, expressing their gratitude to the President for the peace and stability in the country, ongoing development and renewal, and the opportunities being created for entrepreneurship.
Following the ceremony, a symbolic ribbon was cut, officially marking the launch of the enterprise.
The participants toured the facility and familiarized themselves with its modern production processes, installed technological equipment, and the working conditions created for employees.
Notably, the first products manufactured at the enterprise have already been exported by rail to Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
