A Simple Household Business Grew into a Major Enterprise

Currently, 10 projects have been established in the area, five of which have already been launched.
The enterprise owned by “MELIBOY OTA ZIYOSI” LLC is one of these projects. The company produces duvet covers and pillowcases made of velvet and plush fabrics.
As part of the project, valued at UZS 20 billion, modern technological equipment necessary for the enterprise was imported from Germany.
Entrepreneur Jasur Meliboev provided information about the company’s production activities. He noted that he initially started his business at home. Today, the scale of production has expanded significantly, creating more than 100 new jobs.
Home-based work has also been organized in 20 households within the mahalla.
The regional governor also familiarized himself with the production processes organized at the home of an entrepreneur in the mahalla.
It was reported that the company plans to further increase production volumes, expand its export geography, and enter the Afghan market.
Khayrullo Bozorov highly appreciated the entrepreneur’s initiatives to create new jobs and emphasized the importance of supporting businesses in implementing new projects.
During the visit, responsible officials also briefed the governor on the work being carried out in Furqat district to ensure employment, increase household incomes, and reduce poverty.
