New Areas of Cooperation Identified between Fergana Region and Rosatom

The meeting focused on further developing mutually beneficial cooperation, implementing promising investment projects, and localizing production.
Alexey Dremuchev provided information about Rosatom’s activities across a wide range of areas, including nuclear energy, mechanical engineering, nuclear medicine, energy, digital technologies, and the production of advanced modern materials.
During the meeting, it was noted that Uzbekistan, particularly Fergana Region, offers a favorable investment climate and has significant industrial potential. The parties discussed opportunities to launch a pilot project in the healthcare sector, as well as to implement joint projects in the fuel and energy sector, energy storage, composite materials production, workforce training, and transport and logistics.
The Governor of Fergana Region emphasized his readiness to support mutually beneficial initiatives and joint projects.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a Roadmap for priority areas of cooperation and implement joint projects based on a concrete action plan.
