Regional Governor of Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov met with World Para Chess Champion Ahadkhon Kimsanboyev in Margilan and congratulated him on his achievements.
The Margilan-based athlete has achieved a number of outstanding results on the international stage. After securing fourth place at the 2023 Asian Para Games and the 2024 Asian Championship held in India, the athlete went on to defeat all his opponents and become world champion at the 4th IBSA World Chess Championship for Blind and Visually Impaired Players, held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from July 20 to 31, 2026.
The Regional Governor recognized the athlete’s outstanding achievement on the international stage and wished him further success in upcoming competitions.
