First, the ongoing renovation work at the Hazrat Ali pilgrimage site was inspected. During a meeting with members of the working group, the work being carried out in the area, infrastructure development, and the creation of comfortable conditions for tourists were discussed. Reports on the work completed were heard.

Tasks were identified to accelerate the construction of modern pedestrian walkways, improve the street lighting and sewage systems, establish recreation areas, and intensify landscaping and greening efforts. Measures to create an accessible environment for people with disabilities, organize parking areas, and develop transport routes were also considered.

Particular attention was paid to expanding the network of family guest houses and launching modern trade and service facilities, including restaurants, entertainment venues, and cultural and arts institutions. The importance of developing tourist routes, establishing camping and Wi-Fi zones, increasing investment attractiveness, and introducing new tourism services was emphasized.

Relevant instructions were given to responsible officials to develop a strategy for broadly promoting Shohimardon’s tourism potential at the national and international levels, complete the inventory of facilities within the established timeframe, make effective use of vacant buildings, create new jobs, and accelerate the implementation of promising projects.
