Fergana regional administration

During his visit to Fergana District, Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov visited the mahalla and reviewed the work being carried out to ensure employment and develop entrepreneurship.

A two-storey entrepreneurship centre has been established in the mahalla on the initiative of entrepreneur Ranjida Abduvalieva. Sewing and cooking courses, as well as foreign language classes, have been launched at the centre. More than 20 new jobs have been created.

A separate room has also been allocated in the building for senior citizens. In the future, it is planned to organize chess and checkers clubs here to provide residents with opportunities to spend their leisure time meaningfully, as well as establish a wellness centre for senior citizens.

During the meeting, it was also decided, at the suggestion of senior citizens, to establish a library in the mahalla that will help promote a culture of reading among residents, particularly young people.

The regional governor gave recommendations and instructions on further expanding entrepreneurial activities, creating new jobs, ensuring employment for the population, and making effective use of the centre’s potential.
