Fergana regional administration

During the meeting, a critical and analytical review was carried out on the implementation in the Fergana region of Presidential Resolutions No. 1 and No. 2 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adopted on January 5, 2026.

These resolutions assign a number of tasks to leaders and responsible officials at all levels to strengthen crime prevention, prevent criminal offenses, and improve the effectiveness of combating crime.

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhriddin Valiyev, Governor of the Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov, members of the Republican Interagency Coordination Headquarters and its working group, heads of relevant ministries and agencies and their regional divisions, as well as officials from the corresponding organizations and departments.

The participants discussed the findings of the assessment carried out by the working group of the Republican Interagency Coordination Headquarters regarding the implementation of the resolutions. They also analyzed the work carried out within the approved Roadmap for Creating a Safe Environment in Mahallas.

In addition, reports were presented by representatives of ministries and agencies and heads of regional departments on ensuring public safety in mahallas, strengthening the system of social prevention, and preventing offenses and crimes at an early stage.

It was emphasized that the activities conducted within the framework of the "Social Prevention Week" in mahallas had produced positive results.

Along with the achievements, the participants also reviewed the identified shortcomings and existing challenges, and determined specific measures to eliminate them.

The meeting particularly emphasized that, within the framework of the reforms being implemented under the leadership of the President, key priorities include the effective implementation of youth policy, fostering a healthy social and spiritual environment in mahallas, systematically addressing citizens' concerns, and organizing crime prevention based on scientific approaches. In this regard, additional tasks were set to further improve the prevention system, strengthen its legal and regulatory framework, and enhance its overall effectiveness.

At the conclusion of the meeting, responsible officials were given specific instructions to ensure the timely, comprehensive, and high-quality implementation of all assigned tasks aimed at creating a safe environment in mahallas, as well as fulfilling all measures outlined under the "Urgent 90 Days" initiative.
