During a warm and friendly meeting with Afghanistan's Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, the parties emphasized that, in recent years, the relations of mutual trust, brotherhood, and trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan have been consistently strengthening.
It was noted that the establishment of the Fergana Trade House in Kabul will create new opportunities for entrepreneurs, further promote bilateral trade, and facilitate the development of new business partnerships.
The meeting also focused on expanding cooperation between the Fergana Region and Afghanistan in such areas as agriculture, the export of fruit and vegetable products, logistics, the electrical engineering industry, and other sectors.
In addition, the parties reviewed promising plans to increase the supply of high-quality food products, flour and grain, textile products, ready-made garments, construction materials, and pharmaceutical products to the Afghan market.
