The Governor of the region, Khayrullo Bozarov, visited the Fergana district and familiarized himself closely with the work carried out by the investor.
Within the framework of the project, high-yielding varieties of export-oriented peaches, cherries, apricots, and plums brought from Turkey were planted and are being cared for based on modern agrotechnologies.
A drip irrigation system has been established in the orchard, which allows for the efficient use of water resources, increasing productivity, and further improving product quality. Currently, 70 hectares of the orchard have started bearing fruit.
An additional 300 hectares of land will be reclaimed to establish orchards. As a result of the full implementation of the project, it is planned to create 200 new jobs.
Investor Ahmet Sarkangül informed the regional Governor about the current status of the project, plans for its further expansion, and prospects for increasing export volumes.
Instructions and directions were given to the relevant officials regarding the issues raised by the entrepreneur concerning subsidies and electricity supply.
