Khairullo Bozorov, Khokim of the Fergana region, met with Mamirjon Rakhimov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region. During the meeting, the parties discussed the further expansion of cooperation between the two regions.
During the talks, it was emphasized that, thanks to the strong political will of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, all fundamental and complex issues on the bilateral agenda have been successfully resolved. It was also emphasized that interregional relations have reached a qualitatively new level, and cooperation is actively developing.
At the meeting, a draft roadmap for cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian spheres for 2026–2027 was reviewed. The document envisages the implementation of joint investment projects, the development of livestock and potato farming, the creation of modern refrigerated warehouse complexes, and specific proposals for the development of tourism, education, and culture.
