Proposals for the implementation of new tourism projects were discussed on-site.
Shakhimardan and Dugoba have long attracted tourists with their unique nature, majestic mountains, crystal-clear mountain streams, and fresh air. Today, these picturesque places remain very popular among vacationers.
During the meeting, the leaders of the two regions warmly interacted with residents vacationing there.
Specific proposals were put forward for expanding the road leading to Dugoba, developing infrastructure, creating comfortable conditions for tourists, and establishing new recreation areas in collaboration with entrepreneurs from both countries.
"Most importantly, there are great opportunities for developing both summer and winter tourism here," the regional governor noted. "If we jointly create the necessary infrastructure and conditions, this tourist route will be able to attract travelers from all over the world."
Following the meeting, priorities for developing the Shakhimardan-Dugoba tourist destination were identified.
