Fergana regional administration

The event was attended by Governor of Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov, Deputy General Manager of “BNBM” Xu Qian, company representatives, local and foreign investors, and members of the public.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov congratulated the participants and emphasized that the implementation of this project holds significant importance for the continued industrial and economic development of the Fergana Region.

Today, friendly relations, strategic partnership, and cooperation based on mutual trust between Uzbekistan and China continue to develop steadily. Owing to the prudent policies of the heads of state, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries has reached a new stage.

China is one of Uzbekistan’s largest trade and investment partners. The project implemented in the Kokand Free Economic Zone was recognized as a practical example of the strong and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

The project, with a total investment value of USD 5.5 million, was fully financed through foreign direct investment, and the enterprise has been equipped with modern, high-tech Chinese equipment.

The launch of this enterprise also aligns with the objectives outlined during the video conference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the development of the construction materials industry.

Under the project, production facilities have been created with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of dry construction mixes and 10,000 tons of expanded perlite products. The enterprise’s annual production volume is expected to reach UZS 37.7 billion.

Seventy percent of the manufactured products will be supplied to the domestic market, while the remaining 30 percent will be exported. As a result, the enterprise’s annual export potential is projected to reach USD 3 million.

Most importantly, environmentally safe, clean, and green technologies have been introduced at the enterprise, and it was noted that the production process does not result in harmful emissions into the environment.

This serves as a practical implementation of the instructions given by the Head of State. Governor Khayrullo Bozorov expressed gratitude to the management of “BNBM”, particularly Xu Qian and Dou Shang Feng, as well as to all partners who contributed to the implementation of this important investment project.

It was emphasized that the Administration of Fergana Region will continue its consistent efforts to comprehensively support investors, create a favorable business environment, and facilitate the implementation of new investment projects.

During the event, Deputy General Manager of “BNBM” Xu Qian also delivered remarks and expressed appreciation for the favorable conditions created for investors in Uzbekistan, particularly in the Fergana Region, and for the trust extended to the company. He provided information about the completed work, production processes, and future plans, emphasizing that cooperation would continue to expand.

Following the ceremony, a symbolic ribbon-cutting took place and the enterprise’s new production line was officially launched.

Guests were also introduced to the enterprise’s operations, modern technological processes, and production capacities.
