Regional Governor Khayrullo Bozorov visited the mahallas of Uchkuprik district and closely reviewed the implementation of key driver sectors being developed there.

Currently, 115 households are engaged in the production of tables and chairs, generating goods worth UZS 67.5 billion annually. In addition, the export volume of these products has reached USD 1.5 million. Entrepreneur Abdurahmon Sherkulov has been actively supporting local residents in these activities.
During the visit, a proposal was presented to establish an industrial zone dedicated to this sector on available land in the Boboshbek Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly, and the initiative received support.
During the study conducted in the Puchugoy Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly, it was noted that livestock farming is developing rapidly and pedigree cattle breeding is being actively carried out in the area. At present, 200 households are operating in this sector. At the same time, many residents of the mahalla are employed in furniture manufacturing and garment production.
The Regional Governor gave relevant instructions to responsible officials on further expanding these driver sectors.
On the same day, the construction progress of a pharmaceutical production project being implemented by entrepreneur Ahrorjon Toshmatov in the Boboshbek Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly was also reviewed.
At the “Boboshbek” Production and Trade Complex, discussions were held with entrepreneurs operating in the textile and knitwear sector regarding prospects for increasing export volumes. Measures being implemented with the support of a Turkish specialist to improve the competitiveness of products were reviewed, and the need to further accelerate activities in this area was emphasized.
During the visit, the Governor also reviewed construction and renovation works underway at General Secondary School No. 28, financed through sponsorship funds, and announced that practical support would be provided.
In addition, the ongoing activities under the renovation program in Uchkuprik Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly were inspected. Information was presented to the Regional Governor regarding the master plan for the district center.
The Governor emphasized the importance of carrying out these works thoroughly and with high quality and highlighted priority tasks for the future.
