During the meeting, it was emphasized that the reforms initiated by the President and aimed at ensuring comprehensive regional development and improving public welfare are yielding positive results. It was noted that targeted programs have been developed and systematic efforts are being implemented in this direction.
It was highlighted that for Quva District, which possesses significant economic potential, the effective use of existing opportunities, mobilization of internal resources, and creation of new growth areas remain key priorities. In particular, nursery cultivation, horticulture, and rose growing have already become sustainable sources of income for residents in many mahallas.
It was stated that employment for 39.8 thousand residents is planned in the district this year, and specific measures have been developed to transform the area into a district free of unemployment and poverty. At the same time, it was critically noted that progress in certain areas has not yet reached the expected level.
The meeting also included a detailed review of ongoing efforts in employment, agriculture, construction, investment, tourism, and social development.
The outcomes of the district’s comprehensive assessment conducted by regional working groups were discussed, and reports from responsible officials were presented.
It was noted that, in accordance with the President’s decision, Quva District has been granted the status of a “District Reflecting the Image of New Uzbekistan,” and that large-scale projects covering all sectors are being implemented across the district.
In addition, issues related to crime prevention, increasing the socio-economic participation of women, and ensuring social stability in local communities were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, responsible officials were assigned specific tasks to ensure the timely and effective implementation of targeted measures across all sectors.
