Fergana Region and Germany Enter a New Stage of Cooperation in Vocational Education

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in vocational education with organizations that are members of the “iMOVE – Training Made in Germany” network, which operates under the Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth of Germany.
Particular attention was given to the establishment of modern training centers in Fergana Region, foreign language instruction, and the preparation of specialists who meet the requirements of the modern labor market.
The delegation representatives presented information on their educational programs and shared their experience in vocational training and facilitating employment in such fields as construction, automotive manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, and logistics.
The parties also exchanged views on occupations that are in high demand in Germany and discussed existing opportunities for training qualified specialists in these areas.
The Governor of the region emphasized that the development of vocational education, training in modern professions, and ensuring employment are among the most pressing priorities today. He also expressed the regional administration’s readiness to provide comprehensive support for initiatives in this area.
It was noted during the meeting that the large-scale training center currently being established in Fergana Region will serve as an important platform for the implementation of future joint projects.
The parties reached agreements on further cooperation aimed at enhancing human capital development in Fergana Region, equipping young people with modern professional skills, and preparing competitive specialists for the international labor market.
