The Governor noted that in recent years, relations between Uzbekistan and China have been developing rapidly, with mutual trust and practical cooperation steadily strengthening. This, in turn, creates broad opportunities for the implementation of new joint investment projects.
The importance of the proposed project for the water management sector was particularly emphasized. In particular, the parties considered proposals on the use of digital and intelligent technologies to address existing water-related challenges in the regions, as well as on establishing the production of the equipment required for these systems.
The Governor stressed the importance of swiftly moving to the practical implementation stage of the initiative and noted that all necessary conditions would be created for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Following the meeting, responsible officials were designated, and the need to launch a pilot project in a short timeframe based on a clear plan was highlighted. The parties also exchanged views on advanced innovative projects being implemented in the agricultural sector.
