“New Uzbekistan — New Education” National Training Seminar Highlights Education Reforms and the “Fergana Experience”

The Board Meeting of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education took place today at the Fergana Expo International Exhibition Complex in Fergana city.
The event was attended by the Governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov; Minister of Preschool and School Education E’zoza Karimova; deputy ministers; heads of regional departments, district and city divisions, system organizations; and responsible staff members of the national “Kelajak Markazi” center.
Speaking at the event, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov congratulated participants on the important seminar and emphasized that such events play a significant role in conducting an in-depth analysis of ongoing educational reforms, promoting advanced experiences, and defining future priorities.
The regional governor highlighted the fundamental changes taking place in the education system in recent years under the initiatives of the President, as well as the introduction of modern reforms based on advanced international experience. He noted that educating a knowledgeable, competitive, and modern-minded younger generation capable of building the New Uzbekistan remains a key priority.
He also emphasized that the high level of attention and investment directed toward education is an important factor in strengthening the foundation of the Third Renaissance and raising a generation worthy of the country’s great ancestors.
Minister E’zoza Karimova also addressed the meeting, speaking about the effectiveness of reforms being implemented in the sector, future priorities, and the responsibility of regional leadership personnel. At the same time, the positive achievements of the Fergana education system were highly praised, and the importance of promoting the “Fergana Experience” nationwide was emphasized.
During the event, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov was awarded the ministry’s “Devoted Contributor to Public Education” badge in recognition of his significant contribution to the development of the education sector. In addition, the mayors of Fergana city, Dangara district, and Oltiariq district received the “Patron of Education” badge.
The meeting also discussed the effective completion of the current academic year and the organization of “Last Bell” ceremonies at a high level. Reports from responsible officials were heard, and relevant recommendations were provided to ensure the systematic implementation of the assigned tasks.
