High Respect for the Memory of Ancestors

Early this morning, a solemn flower-laying ceremony was held at the foot of the “Grieving Mother” monument located in “Vatanparvarlar Bog‘i” Park in the city of Fergana.
The event was attended by representatives of the regional administration, leaders of state and public organizations, war and labor veterans, military personnel, young people, and members of the general public.
During the ceremony, the Governor of the region, Khayrullo Bozorov, together with deputy governors and regional officials, laid a wreath at the foot of the “Grieving Mother” monument on behalf of the regional administration, paying tribute to the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and peace of the country.
Flowers were also laid at the monument by representatives of the Eastern Military District command, defense and law enforcement agencies, security structures, regional departments and organizations, as well as members of the public.
During the event, profound respect was expressed for the memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom of the Motherland, and for the peace and stability of the people.
Notably, “Vatanparvarlar Bog‘i” Park once again demonstrated that it is not only a place of remembrance and respect, but also a spiritual center that strengthens patriotism, devotion, and appreciation for peace in the hearts of the younger generation.
At present, various commemorative events, meetings, and remembrance evenings dedicated to the Day of Memory and Honor are continuing in all cities and districts of the region.
