Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov Took Part in the “Zakovat” Intellectual Game

Governor of Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov met with the participants of the “Zakovat” intellectual game and shared his views on the knowledge and potential of young people, the reforms being carried out in the country, as well as the intellectual generation laying the foundation for the Third Renaissance.
During the meeting, the regional governor emphasized that in recent years the intellectual potential of young people, their interest in reading, and their aspiration for science have been growing significantly. It was noted that the “Zakovat” club is becoming not only a platform for demonstrating knowledge, but also an important intellectual and educational platform that encourages young people to think, explore new ideas, and make timely decisions. It was also stressed that the growing number of young people wishing to join the club is a result of the attention being paid to youth policy and the reforms being implemented in the country.
It was noted that the results of the reforms initiated by the President are now clearly visible in all spheres of life. In particular, the growing number of educated and talented young people was recognized as one of the most important achievements of the country’s development.
The idea of the Third Renaissance was also discussed. It was emphasized that it is precisely knowledgeable and intellectually capable young people who are laying its foundation. The regional governor expressed confidence that worthy successors to great ancestors such as Abu Rayhan Beruni, Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Mahmud az-Zamakhshari, Imam Bukhari, and other outstanding scholars will emerge from among today’s youth.
During the meeting, young people were encouraged to constantly study, explore, and work on self-development. It was noted that in order to make Uzbekistan an example to the world in science, technology, sports, and other fields, it is important to set ambitious goals and strive for great achievements.
In order to further popularize the “Zakovat” intellectual games, it was noted that competitions are being organized every Thursday across different districts of the region. In addition, proposals were put forward to establish regional competitions such as the “Governor’s Cup,” the “Regional Prosecutor’s Cup,” and the “Regional Department of State Security Service Chief’s Cup.”
During the event, the achievements of Fergana’s youth in the international arena were especially recognized. In particular, it was emphasized that several young people from Fergana are being admitted on scholarship to Harvard University, one of the world’s most prestigious higher education institutions. It was also noted that the success of Uzbek youth in chess and other intellectual fields at the international level is a vivid example of the formation of an educated and talented generation in the country.
