The clinic, recently commissioned, offers all necessary conditions for training future doctors. Students receive dual education, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience. The facility includes a 120-bed inpatient unit and an outpatient department capable of serving up to 200 patients per day, providing modern medical services in general therapy, general surgery, anesthesiology and intensive care, admission and diagnostics, and physiotherapy.
Additionally, the medicinal plant training and practice base established under the Department of “Traditional Medicine and Pharmacology” plays an important role in strengthening students’ practical skills.
During the visit, the governor was briefed on the conditions created at the clinic and the opportunities available for students. In a sincere dialogue, he listened to students’ plans and aspirations. It was also noted that several students had gained practical experience abroad through training and internships.
The regional governor spoke about ongoing healthcare reforms in Uzbekistan, emphasizing that health is an invaluable asset for every individual and society as a whole. He highlighted the crucial role of qualified and knowledgeable doctors in strengthening public health and developing the healthcare sector.
While noting the growing importance of artificial intelligence in medicine, he stressed that young people should primarily focus on mastering their profession, acquiring deep knowledge, reading extensively, and working diligently.
“The medical profession is directly connected with human destiny. A doctor’s knowledge and sense of responsibility are of decisive importance. In some cases, even a kind word can play a vital role in a patient’s recovery,” the governor stated.
Special emphasis was placed on disease prevention, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and increasing physical activity among the population.
The governor called on young people to become a generation that will lay the foundation of the Third Renaissance, urging them to достойно continue the legacy of great scholars such as Ibn Sina (Avicenna) and Al-Biruni, and to grow into highly qualified specialists and accomplished scientists.
Students expressed their gratitude and assured that they would justify the trust placed in them through dedicated study and continuous self-improvement.
