As an example, the active participation of the French company "Poma" in creating tourist complexes in Fergana was highlighted during the dialogue. The implementation of joint projects in the field of winemaking was also mentioned.
The meeting discussed the further development of cooperation in agriculture, the food industry, as well as in the fields of primary and higher education. The Ambassador announced the holding of a festival in Uzbekistan aimed at popularizing French expertise in winemaking and expanding product exports by introducing modern viticulture and enology technologies.
At the same time, the possibility of broader involvement of Uzbek students in French higher education institutions, especially for master's degrees, was noted. In this regard, readiness for cooperation with universities in the Fergana region was expressed. Proposals were also put forward for the creation of schools specializing in the French language.
Governor of the region Khayrullo Bozorov supported the proposals and expressed readiness for further expansion of cooperation. In particular, the importance of inviting French entrepreneurs to the winemaking festival planned to be held in Fergana was noted.
The establishment of close partnership ties within the framework of twinning cities in the Fergana Valley and border territories was also recognized.
