During the meeting, a promising project aimed at achieving high productivity through the introduction of modern agricultural technologies was discussed. The head of the region emphasized that the number of Turkish investors in the region is increasing, noting that promising initiatives will receive comprehensive support.
An innovative project specializing in the cultivation of microgreens was presented by the Turkish company. Within the framework of this initiative, it is planned to introduce modern vertical farming technologies, that is, to organize production in indoor facilities using a multi-tier system without soil — through hydroponics.
The project includes construction, equipment supply, software provision, as well as the full commissioning of the facilities.
In the future, it is planned to establish the production of these agrotechnologies in the Fergana region, as well as, in cooperation with higher educational institutions, in particular the Fergana State Technical University, to organize training for young people and prepare local specialists.
During the talks, agreements were reached on the phased implementation of this project, as well as on further expanding the involvement of Turkish investors in the region and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in new areas.
