New Uzbekistan–Tajikistan Investment Project Launched in Uzbekistan District

During the event, the heads of state initiated the implementation of 10 joint projects.
As part of this process, construction has begun on a project to establish a canned food production facility by the joint venture “Rassvet Vostoka” LLC located in Uzbekistan district.
The ceremony was attended via videoconference by the Governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, along with entrepreneurs and investors.
The project, valued at USD 5 million, is being implemented through direct foreign investment in cooperation with partners from Tajikistan. It is scheduled to be commissioned in 2026–2027.
Upon completion, the facility will have the capacity to process up to 21,000 tons of agricultural products annually. The products will be supplied to both domestic and international markets. In addition, the project will create 80 high-income jobs, contributing to youth employment in the region.
